The main space of the museum consists of three floors that sketch out the most basic and characteristic features of the land of Quang Ninh from past till now, from the mountain to the delta and the sea.
When stepping into the ground floor of the museum, visitors get a chance to admire the whale skeleton and the model of a sailboat. The first floor includes the columns displaying the process of geological formation, sea and marine ecosystems, endemic plants and animals. This cable car achieves two Guinness records including the cabin with the largest capacity in the world, in particular, 230 people/cabin and the cable car with the highest cable tower above the ground, particularly, T1 cable in Bai Chay ward achieving the height of 188.88 meters.
Located at the top of Ba Deo Hills, the Sun Wheel is the second largest in Vietnam and one of the leading cycles in the world. The Sun Wheel was designed following the most modern technology in Japan. It has 64 cabins; the frequency of 20 minutes/turn and capacity of 1,200 passengers/hour. Here, you can watch Halong Bay from 215 meters above sea level.
