Rajasthan is one of the most preferred states for Indian directors to film their movie. “Bajirao Mastani” is the latest film in this bandwagon. The movie is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and has Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as lead cast.
It is one of the dream projects of the director. If sources are to be believed, Ranveer Singh who is filming an action sequence for the film in Rajasthan has injured himself and the shooting has stalled as of now. SLB Productions has hired numerous horses, elephants and camels to film a war sequence for the period film.
“Bajirao Mastani” is a triangular love story in between Peshwa Bajirao, a Marathi Warrior, Kashibai the first wife and Mastani the second wife. According to some sources, the film has high drama and spectacular dance sequences. Sanjay, the director of the movie has selected beautiful locales of Rajasthan.
The movie has already created a buzz among the movie buffs. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s last movie “Ram-Leela, Golion Ki Raas Leela” was a huge hit and cine-goers has huge expectation from this movie too. Hope, the director will do some wonder this time as well. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for his efficiency and craft. The movie is scheduled for Christmas release this year.
